West Coast Consortium for Sustainable Tourism Huelva
The Consortium for Sustainable Tourism West Coast of Huelva has executed an investment of 3.9 billion for 28 initiatives that result in the improvement of fate, job creation and rupture of seasonality in the coastal province of Andalusia.
These initiatives are part of the Andalusia Strategy for Sustainable Tourism and have the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Sport, which funds 40 and 60% of private and public investment in order to consolidate the West Coast of Huelva destination through quality, diversification and sustainability.
As quoted by Fee, the provincial delegate of Tourism, Trade and Sport, Rosario Baluster, these projects are designed to “create jobs and the seasonal break, creating a tourist for the whole year and not just for the summer.” It is expected that these projects are executed before the end of 2012.
For his part, President of the Consortium for Sustainable Tourism West Coast of Huelva, Gonzalo Rodriguez Nevada, stated that “the eminently supramunicipal of tourism requires that there are tools such as the Consortium, posing new ways of working and strategy to flee the premises, that makes all go hand in hand towards a common cause. “
